Walking the Shropshire Way - Shropshire's long-distance trail

Walking the Shropshire Way - Shropshire's long-distance trail

Shropshire has been blessed with some of England's serene rural beauty, from its cliffs and sleek escarpments, rocky outcrops and verdant pastured ridges. Numerous castles, ancient abbeys, hilltop forts and Medieval towns and villages makes this county perfect for a stimulating long distance path like the Shropshire Way.

This Official guide has been prepared in consultation with the Shropshire Way Association and the Shropshire Council. This is a new simplified route that comprises a complete round the county that can be broken down into northern and southern circulars using the Shrewsbury Link Route. In addition there is a leg to the fascinating town of Whitchurch.
