Once you get off your home patch, it is hard to know where you can walk safely with your dog, and which pubs and cafes will welcome you both.

The twenty circular routes, which vary in length from 2 to 7 miles, has all the information you need to enjoy a walk with your pet. There are walks over The Long Mynd, Grinshill and Brown Clee with commanding views; beside the beautiful Llangollen Canal at Ellesmere and Grindley Brook with its narrowboats, to name just a few.

There is also the chance to visit Ironbridge with its Bedlam Furnaces; the extensive ramparts of the Iron Age hill fort of Bury Ditches; the ruins of Haughmond Abbey; and the Llanymynech Heritage Area with its huge lime kiln.
