The course of the path, along both banks of the river between Teddington and Greenwich, is highlighted on street plan extracts which also show locations of riverside pubs and nearby tube or railway stations.

The colour of the text indicates whether the north or the south bank route is being described with special panels providing more background information about important buildings or sights.
