This guide book explores some of the best of the Yorkshire Dales countryside. It includes 50 themed walks of between 2 and 10 miles, each with fascinating background reading. There are clear, easy-to-follow route descriptions, including detailed waypointed sketch maps, for every walk. 

The routes are colour-coded to quickly pick from easy strolls through to more challenging walks. Information on what to look out for during the walk and places to eat and drink is provided, including what to see in the area while you are there and guidance for dog owners on where to walk and dog-friendly establishments. 

There is fascinating background reading for every walk. The book also has some full-page colour photographs of locations visited on some of the walks.
