The walks havE been chosen for their variety, beauty of the countryside through which they pass, or the historical associations of the places visited. The majority of walks can be found within the Sussex Downs and High Weald, where many of the best walks are located.

The walks vary in length between 4 and 12 miles, with most of them being completed during half a day. All walks are circular except a linear walk around Chichester Harbour. Any of the walks provide a memorable day out and will show the best of the beautiful counties of East and West Sussex.
