A long distance walk running from Ravenglass in Cumbria in the west, passing over some of Lakeland's finest peaks, then over the high Pennines before traversing the northern moors and finishing at Berwick-upon-Tweed on the east coast.

 

The guide is split into 14 sections (the main route distance is 210 miles) and follows rights of way in the form of footpaths, bridleways and tracks.
