30 circular walks covering the whole of Northumberland from north to south and east to west aimed at people of all walking abilities and preferences with lengths ranging from 4.5 km (2.8 miles) to 17.8 km (11.1 miles) and difficulty ranging from easy to strenuous.

 

Many of the longer walks have shorter versions and altogether the different variations and combinations make for 48 routes.

 

The walks range from the fabulous Northumberland coastline to the Cheviot Hills, Kielder Forest, the North Pennines, Hadrian's Wall and there are a significant number of walks in the area between the coast and the Cheviots.
