The Pentland Way is a trail extending for 20 miles (32km) along the range of the Pentland Hills.

Containing information about the history, geology, flora and fauna and visitor information to places of interest, the guide comes with a pull-out route-finding supplement.

Accompanying this publication seven interpretation panels are being created at various sites along The Way. Each will have a “You are Here” map board and photographs and location descriptions linked by QR codes to further descriptive material on a Pentland Way web page on the main Friends of the Pentlands web site.

The boards within the Pentland Hills Regional Park have been designed with the assistance of the Park’s Natural Heritage Officers.
