This folded map contains 8 walks around mid-Wensleydale and Lower
Bishopdale. It includes concise walking -directions for each route as
well as Harvey's high-quality mapping at 1:25,000 scale showing field
boundaries, so precise navigation is straightforward.
The map opens out
into 8 panels and is printed on both sides. The eight walks are shown on
3 maps with the routes highlighted, each shown in a different colour
for clarity. The walks are grouped according to which of the three map
sections they are shown on.
There are three short circular routes
and four long circular routes plus one long linear walk of 9 miles with
return by bus. The map also includes lots of practical information for
planning including information on public transport. All the starting
points can be reached by bus.
