The walks, which range from moderate to strenuous, are accompanied by detailed
maps, colour photographs and information on time, distance, terrain and parking.

The book's 'two churches walk' is billed as the most sheltered walk in north-west Skye and is said to be suitable even for wet weather, as most of the route is covered by trees.
When describing each of the walks, author Chris Mitchell is honest about the amount of work needed and any potential hazards such as uneven ground, difficult inclines and even the possibility of severe weather conditions.
