Lake District Icons takes a fresh look at these influential figures – including interviews and pictures with some of the area’s best-known personalities – and shows how they have been affected by the lakes, mountains and fells around them.

 

Using original photography and research it also throws a light on some of the area’s unique features, such as Herdwick sheep and Kendal Mint Cake, to prove that there’s nowhere like the Lake District.
