There are walks around tarns and lakes, along rivers and estuaries, through parkland, farmland and woodland, as well as walks up some of the national parks most accessible fells.

 

Each walk starts – and finishes – at a tearoom, chosen because of its fantastic selection of cakes and because it offers something different from the ordinary! A final chapter containing cake recipes is included, so that you can choose to take your own cake on the walk with you, or bake them at home on days when you want to remember a good day out in the Lakes.
